Roger’s Secret Sauce of Success

We’re coming up on the time of year when people try new recipes and share the ones they like. And one recipe I’m always interested in getting from fellow small business owners is that elusive sauce called “success!”

I’m sure there are a lot of people that would say their company is the best in their trade to work for, but can they explain why? Here at Roger’s Plumbing, I feel that our employees really do LOVE working here every day. It is these employees that make this Leander plumbing company run so well, and I am truly appreciative of them all. I have always believed if I focus on my employees and their happiness first, then the customers would, in turn, be their first priority. As irresponsible as it may sound, I put my needs last, to make sure that my employees and customers are taken care of first.

Further, I only hire people that I see passion and pride in. I’m a firm believer that you cannot fail with these two qualities, and I support anybody who possesses them. Another great thing about working for Roger’s Plumbing is that I like to cover all bases to make sure I am meeting the challenges of each employee. (Because when you stop and think about it, the secret sauce is success tastes sweet to some and savory for others, right?) For some, it’s about making more money, for others it may be more a job that’s a little more difficult than the last one. I would like to think that I am not just teaching my guys the technical aspects of the job when they work here, but also how to be a good, honest, hard-working individual – one who’s always willing to reach a little farther and a little higher each day.
