The Hole-In-The-Ceiling Gang
Everybody knows that the holidays can be a crazy time of year. Whether it’s hectic because we have family and friends visiting, or we travel to them …or whether we overindulge in delicious food, drink or binge on ridiculously cheerful songs around the clock – it’s as though we need all of January to recover!
This Story Has Holes In It
Before we leave another holiday season too far in the rear-view mirror, I wanted to share one of my favorite holiday memories involving one of our customers. This actually took place right before Thanksgiving one year.
This homeowner chose the day before Thanksgiving to finally have us see to an ongoing problem that needed to be fixed. When we arrived, she sprung it on us that she was due to have family over for a big dinner the next day. While this didn’t interrupt any plumbing issues, the work we had to do did involve cutting a gigantic hole in the ceiling….directly over their dining room table.
Needless to say, all of the guests ate Thanksgiving dinner while gazing up at the hole above them. Not exactly something from a Norman Rockwell painting, but luckily, everybody was a good sport about it, and the plumbing repair was made.
We Maintain Customers And Their Stories
This homeowner is still a customer of Roger’s Plumbing today, and this story gets brought up every time we see each other.
Here’s to safe, happy and healthy 2016. If you need us in the new year, don’t hesitate to call!
