Thankfulness Knows No Season
Just as Dickens wrote that Ebenezer Scrooge, once he gave up his miserly ways, “kept the spirit of Christmas all the year,” so too, the staff at Roger’s Plumbing believe that giving thanks should be celebrated all the year. So they’ve extended their expression of thanks to one another – and to their clients – all through this holiday season.
Roger Patterson, the company namesake, expresses his thanks for his family, particularly his children. He reflects, “My children are of that age that I am able to see the benefits of all the hard work that went into parenting. They are well- disciplined, energetic, and inspiring achievers.” Around the office, Roger is thankful for office manager Angela. As the first point of contact for many clients, Angela “sets the stage for our team to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
Back on the home front, Roger is grateful for pets like Tippy the rabbit – even that time when he got out of his hutch and decided to play “catch me if you can.”
While Tippy didn’t have much to say regarding his behavior, Angela expresses mutual admiration and thankfulness for Roger. “He is an amazing Christian man that makes my days positive, supportive and energetic,” she affirms.
Angela is also so very grateful for her kids, remarking, “They are my whole heart and can bring a smile to my face on any day. They show me how loved I am.”
It has been another busy year of plumbing problem solving, but one incident that stands out in the minds of the Roger’s Plumbing staff was the time that a client called quite panicked because water was flowing down the stairs, and her husband was out of town! The staff acted quickly, not just sending a technician to her home for a quick repair and to restore water service to her home, but they also called a restoration company who responded promptly before the water damage became irreparable.
